Seattle FTW: Competitive Socialising Joins the NHL & WNBA

We hear from Dan McDonald, TSGG Business Development Manager who just completed our first ever U.S. installation at the Climate Pledge Arena, home to the Seattle Kraken NHL and Seattle Storm WNBA teams  🇺🇸🎯🏒🏀

This project was a huge milestone for us, and it all started through our great partners at Black Cat. They introduced us to the team at Co-op Live in Manchester, and from there the Seattle venue decided to get our darts installed at the Climate Pledge Arena, on the 10th October 2025, just in time for the start of the 109th season of the National Hockey League. 

The FLYBY digital darts units are set up in a premium corporate and members’ area, giving fans an exciting extra experience as part of their visit. While customers don’t pay directly to play, the venue can offer added value and boost ticket pricing for that exclusive space, which we think is a smart move all around.

Installation ran smoothly thanks to the detailed drawings we received in advance. The biggest challenge? Getting the stock across the Atlantic! 

With shipping delays threatening our timeline, we made the call to air freight everything to Seattle, and it paid off. We met the deadline just in time for the first game of the season.

On a personal note, highlights included catching a Seattle Seahawks game and watching the Seattle Kraken on the ice at the arena,  something I’m not likely to forget anytime soon!

I’ve been asked a few times whether there were any big differences we noticed with this install compared to some of our U.K. ones, and honestly, it went in much the same way… only this time, it happened 4,700 miles away!

We’re so proud to have our darts featured in such a prestigious U.S. venue and can’t wait to see what’s next. I’m hoping it happens during a good NFL season so we can catch another amazing game.
